Mid/Senior Embedded Linux Software Engineer | Networking Solutions

We are looking for a MID/SENIOR Embedded Linux developer to strengthen our developers team in Kaunas, Lithuania. You will work with the leading networking solutions in the world and master your skills.

Teltonika’s networking solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

In this role, you will:

Developing software for IoT devices

Solving complex tasks

Analyzing and developing new technologies

Working with hardware

Working in a team

Providing technical support to colleagues

What we expect of you:

2+ year of experience working with software for embedded devices (advantage if the device(s) are Linux-based);

2+ years of C programming experience;

2+ years experience working with Linux OS (Buildroot/Yocto)

Experience solving complex software and hardware-related issues

Understanding of operating system principles

Knowledge of computer networks

Ideally, you’ll also have:

Experience working with various embedded processors (SOCs/microcontrollers)

Knowledge of electronics and experience with lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.)

Shell programming experience

Experience with UART, SPI, I2C, USB

Experience with WiFi, Bluetooth

Experience with Linux drivers, bootloaders

Experience with OpenWRT operating system

Knowledge of cybersecurity

Good English language skills

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 26 Eur/h up to 45 Eur/h (~4342 Eur— 7515 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
