Engineering Manager New

Currently, we are inviting an ambitious Engineering Manager to join our new R&D team in Poland to help us grow our global presence in IoT sector by quickly and effectively responding to changing market needs and offers reliable, safe and easy-to-use solutions for such areas as Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

In this role you will:

Lead and mentor a team of Embedded Linux application layer developers

Help current employees grow

Lead hiring process of future employees

Foster a collaborative and innovative environment to enhance team performance and satisfaction

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and other teams.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team’s expertise remains cutting-edge

Work mainly with device communication integration with 3rd party hardware and other internal RutOS applications

Facilitate clear communication between departments to align development efforts with business goals.

Identify potential project risks and implement mitigations strategies to minimize impact

Prepare regular reports for senior management on project progress, team performance and technical issues

Engage with customers to gather requirements, provide technical expertise and ensure customer satisfaction

Lead efforts to improve development processes, boost system performance, and enhance product quality

Good knowledge about Embedded Linux applications development

Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Have the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people

Have ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively

Have ability to analyse data from testing and user feedback to inform decision-making and product improvements

Ideally, you'll also have:

Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with various departments

Understanding of user experience principles and ability to incorporate them into product design and development

Ability to manage and implement changes in processes, tools, or technologies while minimizing disruption.

Experience of working with OpenWRT OS, RutOS

Experience of working with industrial services like Modbus
