Mid Mechanical Design Engineer | Networking Solutions New

We are looking for a Mid Mechanical Design Engineer to strengthen our ambitious mechanical design team in Vilnius, Lithuania. You will work with the leading networking solutions in the world.

Teltonika’s networking solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

In this role, you will:

Design and develop networking products in collaboration with electronics hardware development, software development, product testing and other teams.

Develop various mechanical components, from initial idea to serial production approval.

Create and manage CAD models, drawings and other design documentation.

Assemble and inspect prototype samples, write inspection reports.

Directly communicate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding manufacturability and quality of designed parts.

Collaborate with manufacturing department in solving production issues and optimising manufacturing processes.

Offer ideas, insights and suggestions for improvement, both for internal departmental processes and new product development.

What we expect of you:

Higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.

At least 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles, R&D experience is a plus.

Experience with CAD systems (preferably SolidWorks).

Knowledge of various manufacturing technologies (aluminium extrusion, injection moulding, stamping, milling).

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in English.

Base knowledge of electronics, telecommunications networking principles and hardware is a plus.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 20 Eur/h up to 30 Eur/h (~3340 Eur—5010 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.
