Information about the position

We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help evolve and scale a Database infrastructure that consists of more than ~2000 fat servers in 4 data centers and multiple regions. As part of the Persistence Platform team, you’ll work with us on a Database infrastructure and related tooling. In this position, you’ll

Define, lead, and execute improvements and changes to our database infrastructure to effectively manage growth, technology evolution, and scaling requirements.

Actively participate in team decision-making and shaping the roadmap for database infrastructure years ahead.

Build and improve tooling around our Database infrastructure and automate operations with Temporal workflows.

Lead and manage database initiatives that span across different domains within the company.

Proactively identify opportunities for infrastructure improvement and develop and implement the necessary solutions.

Participate in an on-call rotation within the team every ~9th week.

About you

At least 2 years of programming experience preferably in Go.

A curious and responsible individual who wants to learn and master concepts and technologies we use.

Experience working with relational databases.

Experience with Kubernetes and deep knowledge of Linux operating systems.

Strong advocate for automation.

You communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
