Role Introduction

As our new IaC Developer, you will design, develop and optimise Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform across Microsoft Azure and GCP. You will work closely with Cloud Architecture and Infrastructure teams to turn technical requirements into secure, scalable and reliable cloud environments.

You will play a key role in automating infrastructure, deployments and configuration, while helping improve performance, availability and compliance. Your work will directly contribute to the evolution and delivery of cloud services and solutions at SoftwareOne.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain reliable Terraform-based IaC solutions for cloud infrastructure.

Build Azure and GCP environments following strong practices for security, scalability and resilience.

Partner with architecture and infrastructure teams to translate solution requirements into effective implementations.

Automate infrastructure deployments and configuration through CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor infrastructure performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.

Maintain clear, practical documentation for IaC implementations and configurations.

Apply security and compliance standards throughout the infrastructure lifecycle.

What we need to see from you

Essential:

Hands-on experience developing Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform.

Solid knowledge of cloud services and infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and GCP.

Understanding of security, scalability, resilience and availability principles in cloud environments.

Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure automation, preferably with GitLab CI/CD.

Ability to collaborate effectively with different technical teams and communicate infrastructure concepts clearly.

Desirable:

HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate and relevant Azure and/or GCP certification.

Experience with Kubernetes and container management.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of AWS.
