Content & Business Products (CBP) Overview The Content & Business Products (CBP) teams are fundamental to Netflix's mission to entertain the world. This organization is responsible for building the products and services that optimize and automate the entire content creation lifecycle, from initial concept and financial planning to global launch and promotion.
CBP is the engine behind "pitch to play," enabling our teams to create, manage, and distribute content at scale. In addition, we build and maintain critical enterprise products that ensure efficient operations across key internal departments, including Finance, Talent, and Customer Support.
Our Team: Content & Studio Engineering Content & Studio Engineering builds and operates the technology that powers Netflix’s content journey from pitch to post. Our team delivers robust infrastructure, media management, and workflow solutions for everything from evaluating pitches and managing deals to orchestrating petabytes of production media, scheduling releases, and supporting post-production processes. We enable data-informed decision-making for content executives, support global studio operations, and pioneer new workflows with Generative AI - all while ensuring seamless integration across Netflix and its subsidiaries.
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager with a background in studio or media tech infrastructure or Generative AI/ML platforms to drive high-impact, cross-functional programs. This role requires strong collaboration with product, engineering, design, data science, and senior leadership to execute complex, strategic technology programs across the studio.
Responsibilities
Lead multiple complex, cross-functional technical programs focused on foundational studio infrastructure, including hardware provisioning (workstations, render nodes), cloud tenant setup (compute, storage, network), and large-scale data migration initiatives.
Provide deep domain expertise to form technical strategies for migrating and modernizing studio production environments, including large datasets across various storage and cloud solutions.
Drive and manage the technical integration of third-party creative and infrastructure software onto Netflix's corporate platforms.
Scope and lead the execution of Generative AI/ML initiatives, working with engineering and data science partners to identify high-value use cases and productionize new AI platform capabilities, such as access to advanced LLM/APIs.
Drive engagement with cross-functional partners, work to decompose requirements into technical execution plans with measurable milestones, effectively optimize scope and schedule, manage cross-functional dependencies, and proactively manage risks around Day 1 readiness for complex tech integrations.
Craft clear communication of progress toward goals, reporting status to stakeholders and leadership, translating complex technical challenges into clear business implications.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of Technical program management experience.
Must have domain experience in Studio Technology Infrastructure, Media Production Pipelines, or Generative AI/Machine Learning Platform delivery.
Proven experience driving large-scale software and infrastructure projects, managing the definition of technical strategies, and building long-term scalable solutions.
Deep understanding and point of view on the application of Generative AI/ML to creative and production workflows.
Experience orchestrating multiple programs with many moving parts and building partnerships across cross-functional teams.
Able to identify gaps in solutions, evaluate technical approaches, and weigh product vs. technology tradeoffs.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate business impact and technical constraints tailored to the audience.
Ability to drive progress independently on new or undefined initiatives by quickly establishing structure and clear direction.
Ability to work effectively across globally distributed teams, including collaboration across US and European time zones.
Exemplify the Netflix culture by understanding, advocating, and demonstrating its values.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing programs involving large-scale data migration, cloud infrastructure (AWS, CoreWeave, GCP), and high-performance computing/rendering environments.
Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner.

About Netflix
Netflix keeps a small, selective European engineering presence, mostly Amsterdam, London and Warsaw. It does not hire in volume, so a posting appearing here is worth attention.
