THE ROLE & THE TEAM

Our Sustainability and Compliance team leads strategic initiatives across Zalando's pan-European network to minimize environmental impact and drive circular economy practices. We navigate complex regulatory landscapes to ensure our business models remain compliant, efficient, and aligned with our commitment to sustainable fashion e-commerce.

As an Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Analyst, you will lead compliance efforts across complex, multi-jurisdictional regulatory frameworks. In this high-impact, cross-functional role, you will combine data-driven analysis and stakeholder management to develop innovative compliance solutions, optimize costs, and champion sustainable business practices across product waste streams, including packaging, electronics, batteries, and textiles.

About Zalando

Zalando runs Europe's biggest online fashion retailer, and its board mixes the two things that take to build one: Berlin carries the core engineering (IT, ML), and Bucharest carries a real second cluster doing the same, alongside retail operations and marketing roles that outnumber pure software on the list.
