Junior Manager Delivery Solutions (All Genders) New

THE ROLE & THE TEAM

Our team ensures the best possible delivery and return experience for Zalando shipments. We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Delivery Solutions Manager (all genders) to join our high-performing team. In this role, you will help shape customer satisfaction and delivery speed while keeping costs within budget. You’ll develop both operational and foundational project management skills by working closely with internal departments like Linehaul, Customer Service, Warehousing, and Tech. You will act as an operational link between our last-mile carriers and internal teams, helping to monitor performance and resolve day-to-day delivery topics.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

Operational Execution: Support daily last-mile activities, monitoring delivery and return flows to keep customer satisfaction high and operational KPIs on track.

Carrier Collaboration: Assist in managing relationships with external transport partners (CEP Service Providers) and support routine performance reviews and operational alignment.

Support Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to logistical process improvements, tech rollouts, and cost-saving projects across regional delivery networks.

Cross-Functional Work: Partner with internal teams (Product, Tech, Finance) to collect requirements, track logistics data, and improve data-driven decision-making.

Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the delivery cycle and work with senior team members to design better customer return and delivery experiences.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

Education: You hold a University Degree or completed an apprenticeship focused on Transport, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration.

First Experience: You have 1–2 years of relevant experience, internships, or working student roles within logistics, transport, carrier management, or e-commerce.

Strong Communicator: You enjoy collaborating across teams and can articulate ideas clearly in English. Knowledge of an additional EU language is a plus.

Analytical & Eager to Learn: You have a passion for data, good Excel skills, and a willingness to learn reporting tools (e.g., MicroStrategy, Tableau, or PowerBI).

Problem Solver: You bring a proactive, hands-on mindset, comfortable digging into operational challenges and finding pragmatic solutions.
