Brief info about Vinted
Our mission is to make second-hand the first choice, and we're looking for people who want to help us get there. Every day, we work together to help our members buy and sell pre-loved clothing and lifestyle items, giving each piece a second life – or even a third.
The Vinted Group is made up of three business units that support this mission:
Vinted Marketplace is Europe’s leading platform for second-hand fashion and a go-to destination for all kinds of pre-loved items, with a growing range of categories. Our platform connects millions of members across 20+ markets, helping great items find a new life.
Vinted Go enhances the shipping experience with a vast network of over 500,000 pick-up and drop-off points, partnering with more than 60 carriers across Europe, with added services like item verification for peace of mind on high-value pieces.
Vinted Pay is the newest part of the Vinted Group, dedicated to bringing secure, reliable payments to buyers and sellers across Europe. Seamlessly integrated into the Vinted app, it helps keep every transaction safe, efficient, and easy for our members.
Founded in 2008 in Lithuania, Vinted began as a way for friends to find new homes for clothes they no longer needed. In 2019, we became Lithuania's first unicorn! Today, our headquarters remain in Vilnius, and we've grown with offices across Europe, supported by a team of over 2,000 people.
Information about the position
You’ll join the Trust & Safety Operations (TSO), whose mission is to protect the Vinted community and keep our marketplace safe, trustworthy, and fair. The team oversees critical operational workflows, including content moderation, safety escalations, and operational performance at scale.
We’re looking for a Data & Insights Specialist to join the team and help shape better operational decisions through data. In this role, you’ll own the operational data and insights landscape, working closely with TSO leads, cross-functional stakeholders, and Data Science & Analytics (DSA) teams to solve meaningful operational challenges and turn data into action.
In this position, you’ll
Partner closely with TSO leads and stakeholders to turn business questions into structured analytical problems, from request intake and problem scoping through to data analysis and practical recommendations.
Create and enhance intuitive Looker dashboards and visual reporting suites to monitor operational throughput, safety trends, quality, and team workload.
Write SQL to extract and validate data, investigate data issues, and collaborate with Data Science & Analytics (DSA) teams to align metric definitions, data models, and reporting.
Optimize data request forms, triage workflows, and SLAs while building practical documentation, metric FAQs, and self-service resources.
Deliver Looker training and other data enablement sessions to help operational stakeholders confidently use data in their day-to-day work.
Plan and deliver work across a 6-12 month horizon, balance planned initiatives with urgent requests, support onboarding and peer development, and participate in hiring.
About you
Solid hands-on experience designing, structuring, and maintaining user-friendly dashboards in modern BI tools (Looker (strongly preferred), Tableau, Power BI, or similar welcome).
Comfortable writing SQL queries to independently extract, filter, join, and validate data.
Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel for quick data analysis and operational modelling.
Skilled at breaking down data, identifying trends and anomalies, and clearly communicating the “why” behind the numbers.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous business questions into structured analytical problems and actionable recommendations.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, deliver projects independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Able to explain data concepts simply to non-technical stakeholders, create clear documentation, and deliver engaging training.
Prior experience in Trust & Safety, customer support operations, fraud prevention, or a related area would be considered an advantage.

About Vinted
Vinted is Europe's largest second-hand fashion marketplace and one of the few consumer platforms at that scale run entirely from the Baltics. Engineering sits in Vilnius and Kaunas, with product and commercial teams in Amsterdam and Berlin — the Lithuanian sites are the core, not a satellite. The interesting work is marketplace scale: search and recommendations over a catalogue that turns over constantly, payments and trust across two dozen countries.
