This is a high-stakes leadership role where you will drive the legislative reforms necessary to ensure Uber remains a reliable platform for earners, riders, and eaters.
The environment is fast-paced and requires you to execute on high priority initiatives amidst significant ambiguity. You will carry the weight of decisions that matter, navigating complex cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Social Impact, and Research teams. This role is for a strategic problem solver who leads with clarity and heart, thriving in the challenge of shaping the future of mobility and delivery.
What you’ll do
Build and execute a comprehensive campaign strategy that balances short-term legislative wins with long-term brand health.
Navigate internal complexity to align regional policy heads and cross-functional partners around shared goals.
Lead through influence to develop scalable playbooks and resources that empower local teams to handle sensitive community issues.
Own the outcomes of complex projects, turning unstructured policy problems into focused plans of execution.
Drive team excellence by coaching contributors to stay resilient through tough conversations and shifting political landscapes.
Basic Qualifications
7 + years of experience in public policy, government affairs, or regulatory advocacy within a corporate or government setting.
Bachelor’s degree
Experience with project management methodologies to drive complex initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications

Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to earn trust fast across diverse internal and external groups.
Values-aligned traits including systems thinking, grit, and the ability to thrive through constant change.
Strong storytelling and communication skills to effectively represent the team to executives.
Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate market shifts and proactively adjust campaign tactics.
Ready to Ride?
This isn't the kind of place where you follow a playbook — it's where you help write one. If you're driven by impact, energized by challenge, and ready to shape how the world moves — we'd love to hear from you.
You may be eligible for bonuses, equity, and other compensation, as well as a range of benefits. Explore our benefits.

Uber's European roles run through London, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid and Lisbon, but this board is overwhelmingly commercial: 76 sales and operations roles against five in engineering. The engineering roles are real and there are very few of them, so filter rather than browse.
