About the Role

Restaurant Partners are central to Uber Eats. As the Sr. Territory Lead (m/w/d) for Small and Medium Business Account Management in the North Region, you will serve as the regional business owner for a critical growth territory. You will lead a high-performing team of approximately 10 Account Managers (m/w/d), ranging from new hires to seasoned professionals, focusing on strategic growth, customer success, and commercial excellence.

Based in Berlin, you will collaborate with Midmarket Team Leads (m/w/d) to drive the expansion and retention of partners. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring significant time in the field—approximately 20%—to understand merchant operations and build local relationships.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership: Inspire and coach a team of 10 Account Managers (m/w/d). Oversee the talent lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to coaching experienced team members on upselling strategies.

Territory Growth: Execute the growth strategy for the North East region. Use data to drive partner adoption, revenue uplift, and cross-selling of Uber products.

Field Engagement: Lead from the front with bi-weekly visits to partners to build strategic relationships and act as a trusted advisor.

Commercial Performance: Foster a high-energy commercial culture. Set clear targets and use data-driven insights to improve sales, engagement, and retention.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to align regional activities with national goals.

What You Will Need

Experience: 5-10 years of professional experience with a proven track record in Account Management leadership.

Merchant Expertise: Ability to communicate effectively with merchants. Experience in a high-growth tech environment or mid-sized software company is preferred.

Commercial Mindset: Strong commercial thinking and a proactive approach to growth. A background in sales or business development is an advantage.

Segment Knowledge: A fundamental understanding of the Small and Medium Business segment, including its velocity, pain points, and scalability.

Leadership Maturity: Experience managing target-driven commercial teams in an agile, hands-on environment.

Language: Fluency in German and English.

What Success Looks Like

The North East territory exceeds retention and growth targets.

The team is recognized for its connectivity to the local merchant base.

Successful implementation of repeatable commercial playbooks that scale across regions.

Strong collaboration with the leadership team to drive a unified regional strategy.
