About the role and team
Sales at Uber means navigating ambiguity, earning trust fast, and solving problems that don’t come with a script. As a Senior Business Development member within Community Operations, you are tasked with managing our most complex and high-revenue segments. This isn't just about high-volume outreach; it’s about strategic partnership and technical influence in an environment where priorities shift rapidly and the stakes are consistently high.
The pace here is intense, and the work is often messy. You’ll be expected to lead through influence—not just meeting your own revenue targets, but upskilling the broader team and partnering with internal product teams to drive business-critical recommendations. If you are a resilient, data-driven professional who thrives in high-ambiguity environments and is motivated by the challenge of scaling complex business solutions, this is where you’ll grow.
What you’ll do
Sell to, onboard, and manage relationships with high-revenue segments, uncovering deep-seated business challenges and articulating Uber’s complex value proposition.
Navigate the end-to-end sales lifecycle with urgency, from aggressive lead generation to the management of large-scale, high-stakes client portfolios.
Partner with internal teams to drive business recommendations, acting as a bridge between client feedback and product strategy to improve our platform.
Upskill team members by consolidating and evangelizing best practices, local expertise, and product strategy as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Support the broader team with campaign and prioritization management, ensuring resources are allocated to the highest-impact revenue opportunities.
Communicate and engage with external stakeholders across various mediums, maintaining clarity and professionalism even during difficult negotiations or shifting market dynamics.
Basic Qualifications
At least 6 months of experience working in a Sales or B2B environment within a fast-paced, high-growth company.
Proven ability to make logical, data-driven decisions while managing complex, competing priorities.
Exceptional communication skills with a track record of remaining organized while engaging diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in a B2B sales environment, specifically managing large-scale or enterprise-level accounts.
Proven resilience in navigating tough negotiations and overcoming complex client objections in an ambiguous landscape.
Strong systems thinking approach with the ability to turn front-line insights into scalable product or process improvements.
Experience in informal leadership or SME roles, with a focus on upskilling peers and raising the team's talent bar.
Ready to Ride?
This isn't the kind of place where you follow a playbook — it's where you help write one. If you're driven by impact, energized by challenge, and ready to shape how the world moves — we'd love to hear from you.
You may be eligible for bonuses, equity, and other compensation, as well as a range of benefits. Explore our benefits.

Uber's European roles run through London, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid and Lisbon, but this board is overwhelmingly commercial: 76 sales and operations roles against five in engineering. The engineering roles are real and there are very few of them, so filter rather than browse.
