About the role and team

Leading at Uber means setting direction in motion, not waiting for perfect conditions. As the Senior Country Manager for Uber for Business (U4B), you will be the face of our business in a market identified as our most critical global priority. You will build and lead a high-performing sales organization from the ground up, transforming our ambitious "Till 2030" growth initiative into a reality.

This is a high-stakes leadership role that requires you to bridge global strategy with local relevance, making hard calls under pressure in a rapid-growth environment. You’ll navigate the complexities of the Enterprise and Mid-Market sectors, establishing high-quality use cases while managing a matrixed web of internal and external stakeholders. If you lead with clarity, build with heart, and thrive in the challenge of revolutionizing an industry, this is where you’ll make your mark.

What you’ll do

Architect and execute the overall U4B strategy, driving significant sales growth and scaling high-impact, locally-driven use cases for core services.

Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales organization, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability that aligns with our long-term 2030 vision.

Provide deep market insights to modify global strategies for maximum local impact and breakthrough.

Engage directly with C-suite executives and key enterprise prospects to close high-profile deals and build lasting corporate partnerships.

Partner cross-functionally with Sales Ops, Marketing, and Product teams to build scalable go-to-market processes and ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.

Drive organizational efficiency by establishing performance metrics and running quantitative assessments to generate actionable business insights.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 12 years of B2B sales experience in tech, corporate travel, platform solutions, or related commercial fields.

Proven leadership experience managing high-performing sales teams, preferably within a rapid-growth or international environment.

Fluency in French and English communication is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

Strategic thinker with the ability to execute in short-term sprints while maintaining a long-term vision.

Exceptional business judgment and the ability to use data to establish high-value priorities quickly.

Experience working in a matrixed environment with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Finance.

Proactive and energetic personality with a passion for building brand-new business units from a starting point.

Mastery of Salesforce and quantitative decision-making to inform and scale sales processes.

About Uber

Uber's European roles run through London, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid and Lisbon, but this board is overwhelmingly commercial: 76 sales and operations roles against five in engineering. The engineering roles are real and there are very few of them, so filter rather than browse.
