About the Role
As an Operations Manager on the Uber Eats team in Brussels, you will own the real-time health, efficiency, and operational balance of our delivery network across Belgium. You will use data to monitor, model, and optimize the interplay between market demand, merchant availability, dispatch efficiency, and delivery reliability. Reporting to the Head of Courier & Marketplace Operations, this role requires strong analytical skills, quantitative modeling, and direct operational execution to maximize market growth.
What You’ll Do
Marketplace Optimization: Monitor and tune core marketplace levers to maximize conversion and throughput across Belgian cities.
Defect & SLA Management: Track and reduce marketplace defect rates by conducting root-cause analyses and implementing structural and scalable fixes.
Data & SQL Analytics: Write SQL queries and construct data models to isolate network imbalances, track dynamic fee performance, and evaluate market efficiency.
Product Rollouts & Experiments: Deploy regional and global marketplace product features and run localized A/B tests to measure impact.
Commercial & Growth Alignment: Coordinate with local account management and marketing teams to prepare marketplace levers for various planned actions and exogenous factors.
What You’ll Need
Experience: 2–4 years in business analytics, operations management, strategy consulting, or a tech scale-up environment.
Technical Skills:Advanced SQL proficiency; experience with AI models is a plus
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets quantitative modeling skills.
Structured Problem-Solving: Ability to break down multi-variable network mechanics into clear, data-driven action plans.
Language Skills: Fluent in English and either French or Dutch (written and spoken).
Execution Focus: Strong bias for action with a track record of driving data-backed projects from initial query to local implementation.
