TOMRA was founded in 1972, based on the design, manufacturing and sale of reverse vending machines (RVMs) for automated collection of used beverage containers. Today TOMRA provides solutions that enable the circular economy with advanced collection and sorting systems, and food processing by employing sensor-based sorting and grading technology. At TOMRA, we value and encourage innovation, passion and responsibility in everything we do.

The TOMRA Group employs over 5,000 people globally and is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE: TOM). TOMRA was named Norway’s Most Innovative Business in 2023 & 2025.

TOMRA Collection is a leading innovator in the circular economy and Clean Loop Recycling. Founded on the invention of the world's first reverse vending machine, we are now responsible for approximately 91,000 installations across more than 60 markets. By providing an effective and efficient way of collecting, sorting and processing containers, TOMRA's reverse vending systems make it easy for consumers to recycle and contribute to a more sustainable planet.

The Shared Service Center (SSC) in Serbia serves as a strategic enabler for TOMRA Collection Europe, providing a strong operational backbone to support scalable growth across markets. By centralizing key services such as remote monitoring, first‑line support, and service coordination, and leveraging Serbia’s strong talent pool and English proficiency, the SSC improves consistency, efficiency, and execution across Europe.

TOMRA Collection is continuing to grow its commercial capability in Belgrade, and we’re looking for two Sales Development Representatives to join our team supporting the UK market.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys talking to customers, asking good questions and turning an initial conversation into a real commercial opportunity.

And importantly, this isn't a traditional Sales Support role. You’ll be speaking directly with prospective customers, identifying opportunities, running online meetings and demonstrations, and contributing directly to TOMRA’s commercial growth.

What you’ll do

You'll help identify and develop new TOMRA customers within the UK retail market, from the first conversation through to a qualified sales opportunity. For defined standard opportunities, you may also have the opportunity to progress the customer further towards a sale.

Connect with potential customers through proactive outbound calling and prospecting.

Build relationships with retailers, franchise operators and commercial decision makers.

Ask the right questions to understand customers, their requirements and where TOMRA could add value.

Turn conversations into opportunities, qualifying leads and agreeing clear next steps.

Book and run online customer meetings, including product demonstrations following appropriate training.

Develop selected sales opportunities, following up interest, quotations and standard commercial propositions.

Keep opportunities moving by maintaining accurate information, actions and follow-ups in UPSales.

Work as one team with Inside Sales, UK Sales, Marketing, technical specialists, Customer Care and O2C.

For larger, technically complex or non-standard opportunities, you’ll bring in the Inside Sales Executive or UK Sales team so that customers receive the right expertise

Ready to make an impact?

If you're confident talking to people, commercially curious and motivated by turning a first conversation into a real opportunity, we'd like to hear from you.

Join us in Belgrade and help build TOMRA's next generation of customer relationships in the UK.

Why join TOMRA?

This role gives you the opportunity to develop your commercial skills while working in an international B2B sales environment.

You'll gain experience across much more than prospecting, including customer discovery, opportunity qualification, online demonstrations, pipeline management and selected sales opportunities.

You'll also work closely with colleagues across different teams and markets, giving you exposure to the wider commercial process and the opportunity to build a strong foundation for your future career in sales.

Most importantly, TOMRA is looking for quality commercial conversations, not simply high call volumes.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to be a highly experienced salesperson. We're looking for someone with some commercial experience who has the confidence, curiosity and motivation to develop further.

Ideally, you'll bring:

1+ years' experience in B2B sales, Sales Development, Business Development, Inside Sales, telesales or customer acquisition.

Excellent spoken and written English.

Confidence speaking with customers over the phone and starting conversations with new contacts.

Strong communication and listening skills.

A curious mindset and willingness to understand what a customer really needs.

Good organisation and disciplined follow-up.

A target-oriented approach and desire to turn conversations into opportunities.

Confidence using CRM and digital sales systems.

Experience working with UK customers, retail, technology, industrial equipment, automation or solution sales would be useful but isn't essential. Experience delivering online demonstrations or using UPSales or a similar CRM would also be an advantage.

Join a company that combines purpose with innovation where your work has real impact, and your ideas help shape a better future.
