We are redefining how sales and tender processes work: from finding the right projects to processing inquiries, creating quotes and entering orders. The role

As a Solution Engineer at Tendos you sit at the intersection of technology and customers, ensuring that our AI-powered workflows deliver measurable value. Solution Engineering owns the technical side after the sale: setup, onboarding, integrations, quality and value delivery. You run a portfolio of customers across all phases, lead implementations, optimize data-driven processes and translate customer challenges into technical solutions. This is a hands-on, analytical role for someone who loves solving real problems with data, automation and a product mindset. You work closely with Engineering and Product and directly with our customers, so they achieve fast and lasting success with Tendos.

What you'll do

Deliver customer value: ensure quick time-to-value and strong adoption of Tendos across customer teams.

Lead implementations: own the technical onboarding of new customers, including AI setup, configuration, integrations with ERP and CRM systems and customer-specific pipeline or data optimizations.

Analyze and improve: dive into data to uncover insights, track performance and identify opportunities to improve model accuracy and workflow efficiency.

Solve problems hands-on: investigate and resolve issues directly with users, side by side with engineers.

Escalate with standards: when something needs Engineering, you bring problem statement, customer context, reproduction steps and a proposed priority, and you feed patterns across customers, not a stream of tickets.

Operationalize success: make customer value, performance and usage transparent across Tendos.

Collaborate cross-functionally: translate customer needs into clear technical requirements, so Product and Engineering iterate faster.

Run your work AI-first: onboardings, data mapping, documentation and status reporting are automated wherever possible, with the quality bar customer IT expects. No AI slop.

What you must bring

Experience: 3 to 5 years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineer, Data Analyst, Technical Product Manager or similar). We are open to other technical and/or customer-facing backgrounds.

Technical proficiency: strong hands-on skills in data analysis and manipulation (Python, SQL or similar); you work comfortably with structured and unstructured data.

AI awareness: familiarity with AI or ML-driven products; you understand their potential and limitations and bridge them to real-world workflows.

Analytical mindset: you enjoy making sense of complex datasets, diagnosing issues and turning metrics into actionable improvements.

Communication: excellent in German and English; you simplify technical topics for diverse audiences, from inside sales users to customer IT.

Problem-solving attitude: resourceful, proactive, working through challenges hands-on rather than escalating them away.

Judgment under load: you prioritize a full plate, flag capacity early and can say "not now" with a reason and a proposal.

AI-first as a habit: AI tools in daily use, the reflex to automate repetitive work, and the judgment to tell good AI output from plausible-looking junk.
