Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Nordic team is a high-velocity, solution-oriented sales team dedicated to capturing market share and landing the region's next generation of high-growth tech companies and enterprise category leaders. From established giants like Maersk to fast-scaling unicorns like Lovable, we win new business by showing companies how Stripe’s financial infrastructure unlocks new revenue streams and powers international expansion.

What you’ll do

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and closing to managing existing relationships and identifying new opportunities to expand Stripe’s footprint within existing accounts. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who can execute on long-term sales strategies, engage with internal and external stakeholders, align on technical and business requirements with product teams, build value in competitive situations, lead commercial negotiations, and close deals.

Responsibilities

Proactively identify, target, and acquire high-growth mid-market and enterprise prospects across the Nordic region to aggressively expand Stripe’s market footprint.

Build and execute creative, hyper-targeted outbound strategies to open doors with executive decision-makers

Lead complex sales processes from initial prospect contact and discovery through technical qualification, business case delivery, commercial negotiation, and contract execution.

Perform strategic account mapping across target organizations to build deep, multi-threaded relationships with business and technical leaders.

Collaborate with sales engineering, product, and leadership to refine outbound playbooks and elevate Stripe’s net-new acquisition strategy in the Nordics.

Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process and help shape the Stripe sales culture.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

6+ years of enterprise/mid-market SaaS or fintech sales experience with a proven track record of consistently exceeding net-new ARR and new logo quotas

Ability to understand technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple products

Proactive experience sourcing pipeline independently through cold outreach, executive networking, and strategic prospecting.

A knack for working well with a wide range of people, both internally and externally

Strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders

Superior verbal and written communication skills in English

Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment

About Stripe

Stripe's European engineering centers on Dublin and London, with a smaller and more distributed tail across Eastern Europe. It's one of the highest-volume boards tracked here and one of the more selective; Dublin in particular is a genuine engineering hub, not a support site.
