About Soitec
Soitec makes the engineered silicon wafers — SOI and piezoelectric substrates — that other companies build RF, power and imaging chips on, which puts it upstream of the fabs rather than inside them. Its openings sit almost entirely at Bernin, outside Grenoble, where the plants and the process engineering are, and lean towards process, industrialisation and production roles rather than software.
