Today, around 160 million travellers count on us every month to skip the whole “47 browser tabs open” phase and find flights, cars, and hotels quickly and easily 💻.

Joining Skyscanner means becoming part of a global brand that's striving to become the planet's go-to travel hack accessible for all 🌍.

Our vision? To be the world's number one travel ally. (Ambitious? 💪Yes, but, hey, that's what got us here).

Now, we’re on the lookout for a Business Development and Partnerships Manager to help us bring that vision to even more travellers.

- Partnership Management - Own and manage a portfolio of current partnerships by quickly building personal relationships with our global enterprise-sized partnerships and assessing opportunities to grow revenue.

- Reporting / Insights - Provide consistent reporting and insights to external partners as well as internal stakeholders.

- Data-driven decisions - Leverage internal data, partner insights, market trends, and the competitive landscape to make data-driven recommendations for perpetual improvements

- Tech knowledge - Continually researching and understanding the global travel tech environment to ensure that we remain at the forefront of the industry.

- Industry knowledge - Conduct competitive intelligence scans/benchmarking and develop strategies to adapt to changing environment within the travel vertical

- Business Development - Demonstrated success conducting outreach and recruiting for new performance-based marketing partners and relationships

- Technical partner integration experience - Deep technical skills and the ability to talk product: knowledge on APIs, feeds, widgets, etc

- Team player / Autonomous - Ambitious, results-driven individual who enjoys working as a team but can also thrive independently

- Analytical - Able to analyse data and determine partner or market success focused around ROI

- Commercial understanding - Commercial outlook, negotiation and experience of managing 3rd parties

- Relationship builder - You love people. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with hundreds (if not thousands) of partners

About Skyscanner

Skyscanner is the flight, hotel and car-hire search most of Europe has used at some point, and one of the few consumer-scale engineering teams headquartered in Scotland rather than in London. Edinburgh is the engineering home and London carries much of the commercial side; the problems are the ones that come with metasearch — enormous query volume, hundreds of supplier feeds of varying honesty, and pricing that has to be right at the moment somebody presses book.
