Role and Responsibilities
Why you’ll love this role?
Turn sales and promotion data into decisions that shape how Samsung products reach shoppers.
Every promotion, sales order and product on a retail shelf shows what customers want. In this role, you will help the Consumer Electronics (CE) team read that picture clearly. By bringing together sales, promotion and retail data, you will show the Sales and Product teams what is working, what is not, and what to do next. Your insight will shape how we plan campaigns, manage stock and support our retail partners.
You will work closely with the Head of Sales and the Product Managers, supporting the CE SEAD team day to day. This role suits someone who enjoys detail, takes ownership of their work and wants to see their analysis make a real difference to the business.
What You’ll be working on:
Keep sales orders accurate and moving by coordinating with the relevant teams, so orders are processed correctly and outstanding issues are resolved on time.
Turn weekly promotion data into reliable reporting by validating participating products, promotional prices, campaign periods and retailer activity, so the teams can act on it quickly.
Spot risks on the retail shelf early by tracking dead inventory, stockouts, SKU coverage and display presence, and recommend corrective actions.
Keep the sales database accurate and easy to use by resolving inconsistencies and improving the data structure and recurring reports behind it.
Show what drives sales performance by analysing marketing and promotional activity against results and turning the findings into insight for future campaigns.
Keep product samples where they need to be by managing requests, allocation, delivery and returns, with accurate records that support evaluations and presentations.
Support Product and Sales Managers by preparing reports, presentations and ad hoc analyses, and by following up on agreed actions so decisions move forward.
Skills and Qualifications
What You’ll bring to the team
Build trust with Sales and Product Managers by delivering data and reports they can rely on, every week.
Turn complex sales and promotion data into clear conclusions and practical recommendations.
Keep several projects, order queries and sample requests on track without losing attention to detail.
Take ownership of issues and act independently, following through until they are resolved.
Explain findings clearly in reports and presentations, adapting the message to your audience.
Look for ways to simplify processes and reporting so the team works faster and more reliably.
Use advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills and communicate confidently in English.
Hold a university degree and bring the analytical mindset to make sense of complex data.
1-3 years of experience
How you will make an impact
Within the first 6 to 12 months, success will look like sales orders, promotion reports and sample records that are accurate and on time, and a sales database the team trusts without having to double-check it. You will also have identified recurring retail issues and helped put corrective actions in place.
Success will be measured through the timeliness and accuracy of weekly reporting, the number of order and data issues resolved, and feedback from the Head of Sales and the Product Managers.
Day to day, you will follow up on sales orders, collect and validate promotion data, monitor retail KPIs, coordinate sample requests and prepare reports for the managers. Across your work, you will be expected to show the following behaviours:
- Deliver high-quality work independently.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
- Build trust with key stakeholders.
What You’ll get in return
Great work deserves great support.
Alongside competitive rewards, you’ll have access to benefits designed to support your wellbeing, growth and life outside work.
- Up to 4 days per month working from home
- Private medical and travel insurance
- Minimum 20 days annual leave + additional days based on various categories
- Access to staff sales discounts on a wide range of Samsung products

About Samsung
Samsung's European postings are scattered across France, the UK, the Netherlands and a wide Central European tail, reflecting a large multi-division org rather than one engineering culture. Worth checking which business unit a role sits in before assuming it's mobile or chip work.
