About the role
Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business operates safely. They’re among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support.
We’re looking for an Operational Risk Manager to build out and optimise our local risk management frameworks in Switzerland. You'll assess key risk areas and manage regulatory and executive reporting.

What you'll be doing
Identifying and assessing a range of risks, including IT risk
Guiding teams to design and implement effective controls
Supporting the development and implementation of operational risk policies and procedures
Contributing to the definition of key indicators and the risk appetite statement
Developing techniques for quantification of operational risk and resilience, including stress testing and impact tolerances
Managing the risk incident process and ensuring accurate recording of events
Overseeing the preparation and handling of incident reports
Monitoring operational risk against defined limits and thresholds, and coordinating resolutions with risk stakeholders
Producing risk reports for management and relevant stakeholders
Developing and maintaining risk tools and IT systems
Conducting presentations and workshops on risk identification and mitigation
What you'll need
5+ years of experience in operational risk management within banking or financial services, including information technology risk, outsourcing, and third-party risk
A solid understanding of core operational risk concepts, control frameworks, and governance environments
The ability to analyse and structure complex topics into clear actions, including identifying second-order impacts of operational failures
Demonstrated proficiency in executing rigorous investigations, implementing tactical workarounds, and establishing long-term, sustainable control enhancements
Familiarity with fintech risk areas, including payments, cards, lending, fraud, and AML
The ability to anticipate increasing regulatory scrutiny and adapt local frameworks ahead of changing climates
A curious mindset with a drive to challenge assumptions
An organised, methodical approach to problem-solving
Nice to have
Familiarity with operational risk stress testing and quantification
Experience working at a fast-paced global financial institution with matrixed reporting structures
Second-line oversight experience in IT risk, cyber security, and data protection
