In this dynamic environment, we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Tax Compliance Associate/Senior Associate to join our Tax Compliance team in Athens.

Take responsibility for the delivery of tasks, as directed by project managers and more experienced members of the team

Interact effectively with clients, to understand their needs and respond to queries in a timely manner

Seek opportunities to develop own expertise by taking on greater responsibility and/or more technically demanding tasks

Participate in accounting and tax advisory projects

Participate in electronic books (my DATA) and electronic delivery e-delivery projects

Assist in the preparation of tax returns (CIT, VAT, other)

Engage in tax reporting projects (Greek GAAP, IFRS)

Liaise with clients for various accounting & tax issues

What you bring matters

Bachelor's degree in economics, or Accounting & Finance, from a top-tier university

Master's degree in taxation or other Professional Qualification (ACCA) will be considered a strong asset

Relevant professional experience in accounting / tax compliance / bookkeeping / my DATA experience

Consulting firm experience in tax compliance, accounting and my DATA will be considered an asset

Advanced computer literacy, with proficient use of MS Office applications

Solid understanding of Greek Tax and/or Accounting Legislation

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English

A confident and positive attitude, focused on teamwork and communication with colleagues and clients at all levels

Enthusiastic attitude about learning on different industries and markets

Ability to perform effectively under pressure and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
