Job Description & Summary
Build meaningful impact in a digital-first environment
At PwC, we bring together people, business, technology and purpose to create lasting value. In a fast-changing world, we believe that sustainable impact comes from combining human ingenuity with cutting-edge technology. You’ll join a collaborative and inclusive environment where your ideas matter, your growth is supported and your work contributes to helping colleagues deliver exceptional experiences every day.
About the team
You will be part of our Products & Technology team within Internal Firm Services in Belgium. This team enables a digital-first workplace by providing reliable, secure and high-performing IT services across our offices.
As a Field Engineer, you act as the face of IT on-site, ensuring seamless end-user experiences through hands-on support, operational excellence and continuous improvement. You collaborate closely with Service Desk and Operations teams while maintaining ownership of the local user experience across Brussels, Ghent and Antwerp.
What your day will look like
No two days are the same – you’ll operate in a dynamic, people-focused and fast-paced environment where technical expertise meets customer experience.
Provide front-of-house and walk-in support, delivering immediate, high-quality issue resolution
Perform desk-side troubleshooting for hardware, software and workplace incidents requiring physical presence
Execute install, onboarding and move activities, ensuring devices and workplaces are set up smoothly and efficiently
Support meeting rooms and AV systems, proactively ensuring readiness for critical meetings
Manage device lifecycle and workplace setups, including new joiners, movers and replacements
Coordinate asset and peripheral logistics, maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Deliver onsite support for remote offices (Ghent and Antwerp), ensuring consistent service levels
Contribute to projects, rollouts and workplace transformations, bringing a hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
Act as a key link between end users and central IT teams, translating needs into effective solutions
Identify opportunities to improve processes and user experience, driving continuous enhancement
What we will expect from you
We are looking for a results-driven and people-oriented professional who combines technical expertise with strong ownership and collaboration skills.
You take ownership of user issues, ensuring timely and high-quality resolution while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction
You demonstrate a problem-solving mindset, analysing situations quickly and proposing pragmatic, scalable solutions
You work in a structured and performance-driven way, balancing operational priorities with longer-term improvements
You collaborate effectively with colleagues across teams, contributing to a supportive and inclusive environment
You communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
You show proactivity and curiosity, continuously learning and staying up to date with workplace technologies
You contribute to process optimisation, automation and efficiency improvements, helping elevate service delivery
You bring a hands-on, flexible and resilient attitude, thriving in a dynamic and sometimes high-pressure environment
You have experience with end-user support, IT troubleshooting, workplace services, device management and AV support
You are comfortable working on-site across multiple locations and adapting to evolving needs
About you
You hold a degree in IT or have equivalent hands-on experience in field engineering or end-user support
You have a strong understanding of workplace IT environments, hardware, software and user support processes
You combine technical expertise with a customer-centric mindset
You are a team player who values collaboration, knowledge sharing and mutual support
You are organised, detail-oriented and accountable in your work
You are fluent in English, and ideally have a good knowledge of Dutch and/or French
You are motivated by delivering impactful, meaningful and high-quality services
What we offer
At PwC, we invest in your growth, well-being and development, helping you build a career that is both meaningful and flexible.
A challenging and impactful role in a technology-driven and people-focused environment
Opportunities for continuous learning, certifications and career growth
A supportive and inclusive culture where your development is a priority
A competitive and flexible rewards package, including mobility options and well-being initiatives
The possibility to be part of innovative IT projects and transformations
A workplace where you can take ownership, bring ideas and make a real difference
A strong focus on work-life balance and flexibility

About PwC
PwC is one of the Big Four, and its board here is the global Experienced Careers listing rather than a European one: most of what it carries is Cairo, Kuala Lumpur, Kolkata, Toronto and Manila, with Milan, Warsaw, Barcelona and London among the European entries. The technology work sits in the consulting and internal-technology arms rather than in a product org, so filter by role before judging the count.
