About Prophesee

Prophesee is pioneering a new generation of machine vision inspired by the human eye and brain. Its breakthrough event-based vision technology enables machines to see and respond to changes with unprecedented speed and efficiency, serving demanding markets including industrial automation, aerospace and defense, autonomous systems, and IoT.

The Role

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify new business opportunities and generate qualified sales meetings across our industrial and defense markets.

Working closely with the Sales team, you will identify and engage target accounts, qualify prospects against clear criteria, and turn outbound prospecting into actionable commercial opportunities. You will also play a key role in preparing for trade shows and converting event contacts into sales opportunities.

This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career B2B sales professional looking to develop their prospecting and business development skills in an international deeptech company.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prospecting & Lead Generation

Identify and prospect target accounts matching our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) through multichannel outbound campaigns, including email, phone, and LinkedIn.

Research accounts, identify relevant decision-makers, and tailor outreach to their business needs and potential use cases.

Build and maintain a structured pipeline of prospects in the CRM.

2. Qualification & Sales Handover

Qualify leads against clear criteria, applying a disciplined go/no-go approach to assess fit, needs, and commercial potential.

Book qualified meetings for the Sales team and provide clear, actionable prospect information ahead of each meeting.

Track outreach activities, responses, and conversion rates, continuously improving prospecting effectiveness.

3. Trade Shows & Event Follow-Up

Identify and contact target accounts ahead of trade shows to schedule meetings for the Sales team.

Follow up promptly with event leads, qualify their potential, and convert relevant contacts into sales meetings.

Ensure all interactions and next steps are accurately recorded in the CRM.

Your profile

Experience: 1–2 years of initial experience in B2B sales, SDR/BDR, business development, or outbound prospecting.

Prospecting skills: Comfortable with cold outreach by email, phone, and LinkedIn, and motivated by initiating new business conversations.

Qualification mindset: Structured and disciplined, able to assess prospect fit and apply clear qualification criteria.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; professional English is essential. French is a plus.

Organization: Able to manage multiple prospects, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate CRM records.

Mindset: Proactive, persistent, curious, and results-oriented, with a strong willingness to learn and improve.

Interest in technology: An interest in B2B technology, deeptech, industrial applications, or defense markets is a plus.

What Will Make You Successful at Prophesee

You enjoy opening doors, engaging new contacts, and turning initial conversations into qualified business opportunities. You combine persistence with sound judgment, knowing when to pursue a prospect and when to move on.

You are eager to learn, comfortable working toward measurable goals, and motivated to contribute directly to the company’s commercial growth.
