Director, Title Marketing DACH
Netflix – Berlin
Netflix is the world's leading streaming entertainment service with 270+ million paid members across 190+ countries. The DACH region has been part of our European story since 2014, with a strong slate of locally produced titles alongside our global offering.
The Role
The Title Marketing Director, DACH will be based in Berlin, reporting to the Sr. Director Marketing DACH. They will lead a local team responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies that span title-specific campaigns, brand marketing, and broader consumer moments — turning our local originals, global imports, and the Netflix brand itself into cultural conversations that resonate across DACH.
We're looking for an experienced, inspiring leader who brings sharp, innovative thinking alongside operational excellence — someone equally at home crafting bold consumer campaigns and navigating complex cross-functional structures.
What We're Looking For
A proven team leader with a track record of cross-functional collaboration, who thrives in the entertainment industry's ongoing transformation. You've built inclusive teams, worked within intricate global or regional structures, and know how to move through ambiguity with confidence and autonomy.
You're fluent in integrated marketing — combining digital, social, and offline media into powerful, holistic campaigns rooted in cultural insight. You think in ideas, operate with creative ambition, and have a genuine passion for entertainment and its power to shape culture. You're as comfortable leading a title launch as you are shaping brand positioning or identifying non-title moments that build long-term affinity for Netflix in the region.
Critically, you have a strong curiosity for and working knowledge of AI developments in marketing — how emerging tools are reshaping how we plan, create, and measure campaigns — and you're energized by what that means for the future of the discipline. You're equally excited about the human side: building alignment across a complex, cross-functional DACH organization that spans all marketing functions, comms, content, partnerships, and beyond, and serving as a connector - also across the broader EMEA structure.
This role sits at the intersection of many teams and workstreams, making exceptional communication skills essential. You are someone who can absorb information from multiple directions — content, data, leadership, partners — and translate it clearly into strategy and action. You know how to read a room, land a message, and bring people along, whether you're presenting to senior leadership or aligning a cross-functional team around a campaign.
You're an articulate communicator in both German and English, with a deep understanding of German, Austrian, and Swiss popular culture.
Key Responsibilities
You will develop and lead marketing strategy — across titles, brand, and broader consumer initiatives — in close collaboration with the Sr. Director Marketing DACH and the wider Marketing DACH leadership team, including the head of Publicity, Social, Events, PAVS, and Marketing Production. Together you will ensure a coherent, integrated approach that maximizes business impact across all consumer-facing disciplines.
You will launch innovative campaigns for local originals and imported titles that resonate specifically with DACH audiences, while also identifying and activating brand and cultural moments beyond individual titles, drawing on market insights, programming needs, and brand positioning.
You will serve as a key cross-functional voice — aligning marketing, comms, publicity, content, business development, and payments — and work closely with the local Partnerships team on strategic commercial and brand partnerships.
You will lead by example in the spirit of Freedom and Responsibility: giving your team clear context and genuine space to do their best work.
