The Nemetschek Group is a pioneer for the digital transformation in the AEC/O industry and focuses on the use of open standards (OPEN BIM). As one of the world's leading groups in this industry, the Nemetschek Group increases the quality in the construction process with its intelligent software solutions and improves the digital workflow of all those involved in the process. As a result, buildings can be planned, built, and operated more efficiently, sustainably and with less impact on resources.

At Nemetschek Group, we are shaping the future of the built world through software, innovation, and collaboration. We are looking for an experienced Internal Communications Lead (Director) to drive our global internal communications strategy and help bring our transformation story to life across a diverse, international workforce. In this highly visible leadership role, you will partner closely with senior executives, enable leaders to communicate with impact, and create engaging employee experiences that strengthen culture, connectivity, and alignment across the Group.

What You'll Do

Develop and execute a global internal communications strategy aligned with business priorities and transformation goals.

Lead and mentor a global internal communications team while coordinating an international communications network.

Drive employee engagement initiatives that foster community, belonging, and a shared company identity.

Modernize and harmonize communication channels, formats, and platforms, including intranet and digital workplace tools.

Lead communications for major organizational changes, transformations, and leadership events.

Introduce innovative communication approaches, leveraging AI, automation, analytics, and digital engagement tools.

Measure communication effectiveness and employee engagement through data driven insights and KPIs.

What We're Looking For

12+ years of experience in Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, Change Management, or related fields.

Proven track record developing communication strategies for large, complex, international organizations.

Strong experience supporting executives and advising senior leaders on communication and engagement topics.

Expertise in organizational change, employee engagement, and leadership communications.

Exceptional storytelling, writing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience leading global teams and influencing across cultures and regions.

Passion for innovation and the use of AI and technology to enhance employee communication and experience.

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, or a related discipline.

About Nemetschek

Nemetschek owns Bluebeam, Graphisoft, Vectorworks and several other design-software brands under one holding company — its careers board spans all of them, branded by subsidiary rather than by Nemetschek itself. Germany carries the largest share, Munich specifically, with a smaller London presence and a commercial-leaning mix of sales, support and marketing roles.
