Your role

As a Product Owner Hardware, you will play a pivotal role in the development and lifecycle management of our battery management systems (BMS) hardware products. You will be responsible for driving product development from concept to production, ensuring product quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Product Release: Oversee the entire product release process, including planning, execution, and post-release activities.

- Representing Development: Represent development topics in the project team and be the contact point for Industrialization, Operations, Purchasing regarding development topics.

- Development Coordination: Owns development resources. Coordinate tasks and allocate them to the different stakeholders, to ensure timely delivery of product features and functionalities.

- Cost Management: Track and manage product costs, including Bill of Materials (BOM) costs, to optimize overall product profitability.

- Variant Management: Define and manage product variants to meet diverse customer needs while maintaining product consistency and quality.

- Quality Assurance: Identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues, working closely with the quality team to ensure product compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

- Supplier Management: Manage suppliers and the maturity of their products, ensuring timely delivery of components.

- Validation Planning: Develop and control comprehensive validation plans to verify product performance and reliability.

- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate product risks to minimize potential issues and ensure product safety.

Your Ideal Profile

- Strong technical background in electronics hardware design and development

- Proven experience (min. 5 years) in product management or a similar role

- Excellent project management and organizational skills

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
