ABOUT THE ROLE

Mistral partners with the leaders of their industries to redefine how their most complex, high-stakes challenges are solved with frontier AI.

As a Solutions Operations Manager for our strategic accounts, you act as the Technical Program Manager to the account leadership: you sit at the heart of the transformation, working with the client's leadership and with Mistral's best deployment strategists, forward-deployed engineers and applied scientists. You own technical program management end-to-end, planning, governance, execution, while also running the day-to-day operations of the accounts.

This is a hands-on role for someone with a solid technical background who has led complex programs and is equally comfortable on running operations. You embed in an account, own the outcome, and bring AI into the day-to-day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As the operational backbone of the account, you act as the right hand to the Program Lead, ensuring Mistral sets the standard for execution, speed, and collaboration with the client. Your role blends technical program management, hands-on delivery governance, and day-to-day operations.

GOVERNANCE & STRATEGIC ALIGNMENT

- Ensure the Program Lead’s vision is clearly articulated and adopted by both Mistral’s account team and the client

- Drive alignment between client stakeholders and Mistral teams to ensure shared priorities and high-quality delivery standards

- Facilitate data-driven decision-making for leadership through weekly cadences, steering committee prep, and risk dashboards.

STRATEGIC SCOPING & VALUE DEFINITION

- Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business, operating model, and strategic priorities

- Partner with the Program Lead and Account team to scope transformative programs, identify and define use cases, and build a clear business case and value framework

- Translate strategic ambition into measurable outcomes and track the long-term business impact of each program

DELIVERY & EXECUTION

- Own delivery frameworks: timelines, milestones, reporting, proactively securing commitments and flagging risks or delays early.

- Optimize delivery processes by identifying friction points and standardizing workflows to enhance quality and predictability.

- Run the account's logistics for Mistral team going on site (access, security, meetings)

OPERATIONAL INNOVATION & AUTOMATION

- Build and enhance Mistral’s platform and internal tools to empower program delivery with scalable, tailored solutions

- Automate workflows to eliminate manual friction in planning, reporting, and follow-ups, accelerating execution and reducing operational overhead

WHO YOU ARE

- Technical foundation. You have an engineering or equivalent technical background and 3–5 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager (or similar) delivering complex, multi-stakeholder technical programs at a tech company, scale-up, or enterprise.

- AI-fluent. You genuinely use AI tools to automate your own work: drafting, analysis, reporting, PMO tasks. You're comfortable building and iterating on automations.

- High agency. You don't wait to be told what to do. You see the gap, you close it, and you raise the standard as you go.

- Customer-centric. You can hold a room with senior enterprise stakeholders and translate between business strategy and technical delivery.

- Meticulous and reliable. Ownership to the last detail; nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.

- Adaptable. Comfortable operating in ambiguity and a fast-moving environment; bias to action over process for its own sake.

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience in enterprise software, AI, or deep-tech delivery environments.

- Exposure to change management / adoption at scale within large organizations.

- Hands-on experience automating workflows with LLMs or building internal tooling.

PRACTICAL DETAILS

- Location: Paris, with travel expected ~30% of your time to customer sites (Europe)

- Team: Solutions Org, reporting into the Solutions leadership.

- Scope: One or several strategic accounts.
