THE ROLE

As Talent Acquisition Lead on the People team, you will define and execute Mistral’s hiring strategy while leading and developing a high-performing recruiting team. This role combines hands-on recruiting for critical positions with strategic leadership to ensure our hiring processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with Mistral’s mission. You’ll work closely with cross-functional leaders to build a diverse, skilled workforce that drives our growth and reinforces our reputation as a top employer in the competitive talent market.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Collaborate with tech and business leaders to understand hiring needs and deliver top-tier talent for key roles.

- Elevate the candidate experience, ensuring it is engaging, transparent, and reflective of Mistral’s culture.

- Guide candidates through the recruitment journey, introducing them to our mission, values, and work environment.

- Develop and share recruiting best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across the team.

- Leverage data analytics to identify bottlenecks, measure success, and drive continuous improvement in hiring processes.

- Mentor and coach recruiters, fostering their growth and enabling them to excel in their roles.

- Innovate and optimize by recommending and implementing improvements to tools, workflows, and strategies.

- Champion Mistral’s employer brand, representing the company externally to attract and retain top talent.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Extensive experience: 8+ years in corporate recruiting, with a focus on competitive markets.

- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire recruiting teams.

- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.

- Operational excellence: Experience managing projects and people with discipline, precision, and a results-driven mindset.

- Strategic agility: Ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution.

- Influence: Skilled at driving alignment and collaboration across functions without direct authority.

- Adaptability: Quick learner who can master new topics and pivot in a fast-moving environment.

- Global perspective: Fluent in English with experience in international recruiting.

- Tool proficiency: Familiarity with Ashby, Modernloop, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar tools.
