As an Apps and AI Cloud Solution Architect, covering multiple industries, Telco, Media, Retail, Consumer Goods, Public Sector and Healthcare, you help customers transform and modernize their applications so they can achieve their most important business priorities. You work with them to evaluate existing applications and business requirements, recommend solutions that fit their needs, and demonstrate the art of the possible to win technical decisions. In this role, you guide customers through their cloud and artificial intelligence transformation journey, helping them move from vision to production-ready solutions.

You serve as a trusted technical advisor on applications and artificial intelligence, leading customers through the design, deployment, adoption, and optimization of modern, intelligent applications and agents. By helping customers successfully implement solutions built on Microsoft’s cloud and AI platform, you directly contribute to customer value realization, Azure consumption growth, and long-term customer trust. You sit at the intersection of business goals, technical architecture, and delivery execution—identifying opportunities, supporting architecture decisions, unblocking technical challenges, and turning successful engagements into broader platform adoption. Responsibilities

Develop your capability to deliver a seamless and connected customer experience by learning customer goals, supporting issue resolution, and helping address customer dissatisfaction under the guidance of more experienced team members.

Learn how to identify and translate customer and partner problems into industry solutions aligned with Microsoft product and platform strategy, and support more experienced colleagues in positioning proofs of concept, minimum viable products, or rapid prototypes that demonstrate business value and return on investment.

Support the team in identifying opportunities to drive consumption, usage, and expansion by gathering customer and market insights, mapping existing architectures and digital transformation needs to business outcomes, and capturing opportunities in the appropriate systems and tools.

Learn to deliver solutions in line with company methodologies and proven practices, helping prepare customers for operational readiness, long-term organizational adoption, and well-architected solutions that are secure, resilient, AI-enabled, and optimized for cost and performance.

Participate in virtual teams focused on industries, technologies and customer or partner challenges, building your understanding of Microsoft architectures, contributing to collateral and intellectual property, and engaging in readiness and upskilling activities that build both technical and non-technical capabilities.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Business Fluency in German is required

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 2+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).

Knowledge from one or more of the following industries: Telco, Media, Retail, Consumer Goods, Public Sector and Healthcare

Cloud Solution Architecture IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across Germany is € 55,400.00 - € 88,800.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
