Responsibilities

We are looking for a curious and passionate engineer with experience in full stack end to end user experience, an ability to design components carefully, properly handle errors, write clean and well-factored code with good tests and good maintainability.  Specifically, you will:

Design, develop, and maintain large scale distributed software services and solutions

Develop “best-in-class” engineering for our services by ensuring that the services and the components are well-defined and modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored and reusable.

Gain a working understanding of Microsoft businesses and collaborate with other leaders in order to contribute to cohesive, end-to-end experiences for our users

Partner with key stakeholders to drive improvements and change across multiple teams across multiple geographies in the Microsoft organization.

Qualifications

Required / Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

Additonal / Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Frontend and user experience development (e.g. React, Storybook)

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is € 49,500.00 - € 83,900.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
