Process and Tooling Team Introduction
Cloud Interconnection & Acquisition | Network Fiber
Who We Are
We are the Process and Tooling team supporting CIA Network Fiber, focused on simplifying how teams plan, source, deliver, and manage fiber work across regions. Our team partners closely with sourcing, delivery, engineering, operations, GIS, and regional stakeholders to turn complex workflows into clear, scalable processes and practical tooling solutions.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create consistent, efficient, and repeatable ways of working that reduce manual effort, improve visibility, and help teams move fiber programs forward with greater speed and confidence. We focus on standardizing processes, improving tool adoption, clarifying ownership, and enabling better decision-making through reliable data and well-defined workflows.

The ideal candidate thrives in complex, matrixed environments, can move seamlessly between strategy and execution, and delivers measurable impact through responsible, scalable AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities - Process Optimization, Tooling & Automation with Focus on AI
Map, analyze, and optimize end-to-end operational processes across network sourcing, inventory, planning, fiber lifecycle, and engineering workflows.
Eliminate friction, standardize practices, and reduce cycle times using AI enabled automation.
Partner with CIA and our partner teams to ensure integrated, scalable tooling solutions aligned to business priorities.
AI, Data & System Integration
Strengthen data quality, interoperability, and automation across network and operational tools.
Enable AI powered data cleansing, reconciliation, forecasting, and predictive modeling.
Support system modernization initiatives to ensure platforms are AI‑ready and interoperable.
Act as a connector between business owners, engineering teams, and AI/data science resources.
Design, develop, and deploy agents and agent flows that support operational workflows.
Translate repeatable patterns into scalable, automated solutions.
Ensure AI solutions are reliable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with engineering best practices.
Integrate automation solutions with existing systems and Microsoft platforms.
Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI and automation solutions in production environments.
Contribute to technical documentation, operational readiness, and knowledge sharing.
Lead AI change management efforts to drive AI literacy and adoption across teams.
Develop training, documentation, and communications that accelerate responsible AI usage.
Foster an AI first, growth mindset culture grounded in Microsoft’s Responsible AI principles, security, and governance standards.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, Telecommunications, Finance, or related field AND some experience in these fields OR equivalent experience
Some experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
Preferred Qualifications:
Some experience in cloud, data center, or large‑scale network environments.
Solid experience in program management, process improvement, automation, or operations.
Hands‑on experience with AI tools, including Copilot and/or Copilot Studio.
Experience developing automation or analytics solutions using Python or similar languages.
Strong understanding of network or infrastructure lifecycles.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel with financial or operational data.
Proven ability to influence across highly matrixed organizations.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience designing and implementing Copilot agents and agent flows, including prompt design.
Familiarity with Azure services, Kusto queries, APIs, or enterprise data platforms.
