Solution Area Specialists Manager - Cloud & AI

Overview

We are hiring a Cloud & AI Platforms (CAIP) Manager to lead Microsoft's Cloud & AI Platforms business in Norway.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving growth across Microsoft's AI and cloud platform portfolio, including Data & AI, Azure Infrastructure, Application Innovation, Fabric, Foundry, GitHub, and emerging AI Agent scenarios.

The successful candidate will lead and develop a specialist team while partnering across Microsoft to accelerate AI transformation for customers. The role requires a combination of people leadership and business leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

Create a compelling market and customer vision around AI transformation

Build and coach a high-performing sales organization

Engage confidently with C-level business and technology executives

Translate technology into measurable business outcomes

Drive execution excellence, pipeline health, forecast quality and consumption growth

Lead through influence across multiple Microsoft teams and partners

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND several years of technology-related sales or account management experience

o    OR equivalent experience

Fluency or business level English and Norwegian language skills 

People Management experience

Experience engaging with C-level and board level stakeholders

Solution Area Specialists M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Norway is kr 865,000.00 - kr 1,378,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
