The Regulatory Readiness Obligation Management team works across regulatory domains (e.g. Privacy, Integrity, Security) and partners closely with Legal, Policy, Operations, and Product to understand and respond to key external pressures that could impact Meta's businesses. We work with our partners to develop and scale Meta’s end-to-end Regulatory Readiness program. The Regulatory Readiness Program Manager supporting a given regulatory area is central to ensuring Product can identify how external pressures may impact current and/or future product plans.

This role is suitable for those seeking to work closely with product teams on a daily basis, and for those seeking to understand how regulatory, competitive, and legal matters relate to Meta's data practices and product offerings. As this is a highly visible role that requires leadership, good stakeholder management, technical know-how, and well-structured operations, the successful candidate should navigate ambiguity by defining structure, clarifying priorities, and driving alignment across cross-functional teams and have a desire to solve complex, cross-functional regulatory and product challenges.

This role will work with leadership including executives at the company, on some of the biggest priorities for the company.Responsibilities

Ensure Product is aware of external pressures identified by Legal, Policy, and teams working on forecasting and analysis of the competitive landscape

Lead gap analyses that allow Product teams to more easily identify deltas between new regulations and existing product and/or strategic positions

Identify opportunities for alignment across domains. Especially opportunities for alignment between Regulatory Readiness Strategic Program Managers

Work with teams across domains to identify conflicting requirements and initiatives and improve collaboration across groups responsible for long-term regulatory strategy

Scale the capacity of the Regulatory Readiness team through process optimization, right-sizing, and up-skilling

Drive progress on priority work-streams and help build decision-making frameworks and deliverables

Prepare communication materials and progress tracking for multiple audiences, including leadership

Minimum Qualifications

6+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, business operations, program management, regulatory operations, or other operational discipline

3+ years of experience working within a product environment and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, including legal, policy and product functions

2+ years of experience working in a regulatory domain like privacy, integrity, security OR in a role associated with data protection, regulatory response, operational risk management, compliance, audit and implementation of control frameworks, privacy by design, information security, or other highly regulated environment

Proven project management, problem solving, time-management and organizational skills, and the experience to set strategic priorities combined with a demonstrated history of delivering operational results

Experience facilitating alignment and driving decisions across stakeholders with differing priorities or requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)

Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)

Project Management / Program Management Certification(s)

Demonstrated knowledge of a domain’s requirements (e.g. Privacy, Integrity, Security), preferable those applicable to a global tech company, and experience evaluating products or processes to ensure compliance with applicable requirements
