InPost Pay is building its own fintech platform from the ground up. It’s a large-scale, international initiative where engineers will have the opportunity to shape the architecture, build core fintech components, and create solutions designed to operate at InPost’s scale.

We’re building a lean, highly effective engineering organization in Poland, with AI-native engineering at its core. We’re looking for strong engineers who are comfortable with agentic engineering, from experienced professionals building complex systems and engineering tooling to a new generation of engineers who have embraced AI-driven development from the start of their careers.

→ Hybrid working model: preferably 1 day per week in the Warsaw or Cracow office.

We are looking for an experienced Android Engineer to join our FinTech Platform team. You will take end-to-end ownership of the native Android platform, including its architecture, quality, performance, and delivery across a diverse Android device landscape.

This role combines deep Android engineering expertise with a strong product mindset. You will be accountable not only for platform health, but also for the business outcomes and user experience of the consumer and merchant-facing solutions you build.

Own the architecture of a production FinTech Android application, including layered architectural patterns, module boundaries, and the Gradle build structure.

Develop and maintain native Android solutions using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and the View system.

Implement reliable concurrency and state management using Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.

Work with local persistence and security solutions such as Room, EncryptedSharedPreferences, and Android Keystore.

Contribute throughout the development lifecycle, including PRD authorship, specification writing, testing, feature-flagged releases, and structured event emission.

Build and maintain automated tests using JUnit, Espresso, and Compose Testing.

Profile and improve application performance using Android Profiler and Perfetto, with a focus on CPU usage, memory, and UI performance.

Maintain a zero-regression approach by monitoring crashes and ANRs through tools such as Crashlytics.

Support CI/CD automation using Gradle, GitHub Actions, or equivalent solutions.

Own integrations between native and web-based experiences, including WebView, Custom Tabs, App Links, and deep linking.

Co-own the team backlog with Engineering and Product Managers, bringing Android constraints and native solution proposals into requirement shaping.

Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts, authentication flows, and event schemas.

Participate in production incident support and post-mortem activities when required

At least 5 years of experience in native Android engineering, including production applications published through Google Play.

At least 4 years of experience working with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose and/or the Android View system.

At least 3 years of experience with Android testing using JUnit, Espresso, and Compose Testing.

Strong command of Kotlin, including Coroutines, Flow, sealed classes, and extension functions.

Production-level experience with Jetpack Compose and the View system.

Knowledge of Clean Architecture, MVVM, and/or MVI, with a strong understanding of module and layer boundaries.

Experience with Hilt or Dagger 2, including component lifecycle and scope management.

Experience with Room, EncryptedSharedPreferences, and Android Keystore.

Knowledge of Retrofit and OkHttp, including certificate pinning and structured error handling.

Experience with Android performance profiling using Android Profiler and Perfetto.

Experience with Gradle-based CI/CD and automated signing and delivery processes.

Ability to read and work with Java in legacy systems and third-party SDK integrations.

Experience integrating feature flags and structured events at the mobile layer.

English at a minimum B2 level.

A university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice to have

At least 2 years of experience in FinTech or regulated mobile application development.

Experience with Google Pay or Android payment APIs.

Experience with modular Android applications at a multi-module scale.

Knowledge of Instant Apps.

Experience implementing WCAG or Android accessibility standards in production applications.

Familiarity with KSP, KAPT, custom Gradle plugins, or Gradle convention plugins.

Opportunity to work in a diverse, international, and cross-functional environment, along with leading experts.

You work and learn from a senior leader and their leadership team, expanding your experience and exposure in the e-commerce and logistics industries.
