Acquire and build exceptional software companies.

This is an opportunity to join a Hostinger-backed investment firm and play a key role in building a portfolio of category-leading software businesses.

We focus on acquiring majority stakes in founder-led software companies and scaling them over the long term. Our approach goes beyond capital - we offer hands-on operational support, access to a strong network of experts, and a long-term mindset to help founders build on their original vision.

With a global investment mandate and headquarters in Vilnius, Lithuania, we are on a mission to build a worldwide ecosystem of category-leading software companies.

Your role

We are looking for an ambitious M&A / Investment Manager to lead the identification, execution, and ownership of majority investments in high-quality software businesses. An ideal candidate combines strong transaction experience with an entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine interest in long-term ownership.

You will operate across the full investment lifecycle - from sourcing and evaluation to negotiation, execution, and ongoing involvement with portfolio companies. You will work directly with founders and advisors, with real exposure to decision-making and responsibility for outcomes.

Over time, you will take increasing ownership of deals and contribute to investment decisions by forming independent views on business quality, valuation, and long-term potential.

You will be expected to think and act like an owner, not just manage a process.

This is an on-site role based in Vilnius, Lithuania. We welcome candidates currently working abroad who are open to relocating.

- Conduct deep-dive due diligence across financial, commercial, and operational areas

Deal structuring & execution:

- Lead or support negotiations with founders and advisors

- Structure and execute majority and 100% acquisitions

- Drive transactions end-to-end, coordinating external advisors and internal stakeholders

Deal origination & sourcing:

- Identify and assess acquisition opportunities across global software markets

- Build trusted relationships with founders, advisors, and industry participants

- Continuously improve sourcing strategies, outreach, and deal flow quality

Portfolio management & value creation:

- Partner with founders and leadership teams to drive strategy, operations, and key decisions post-acquisition

- Oversee governance, performance, and capital allocation to build value across the portfolio

Operations & firm building:

- Help refine internal investment processes and decision frameworks

- Contribute to building a scalable acquisition and portfolio platform

- Support and mentor junior team members

Your skills and experience

- 5-8 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, transaction services, or related fields

- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, with the ability to assess businesses holistically

- Proven experience working on transactions (buy-side or sell-side)

- Strong commercial judgment and ability to operate with incomplete information

- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with founders and advisors

- Ability to operate independently and drive processes end-to-end

- Genuine interest in technology and being thoughtful about how AI is reshaping software businesses and investment opportunities

- Full professional fluency in English

What we offer

- Ownership and autonomy that grows with you - help shape a growing investment platform with global reach

- Full investment lifecycle exposure from deal origination to portfolio management and value creation

- Direct influence on investment decisions

- Work with ambitious software entrepreneurs and help build durable, high-quality businesses

- A fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture where decisions are made quickly and ownership is real

- Potential for long-term upside as we scale

Compensation

- Gross salary 6,000-8,000 Eur/month, depending on your experience and skills

About Hostinger

Hostinger is a Lithuanian web-hosting company, and one of the largest engineering employers in the Baltics: Vilnius carries most of its board, with Kaunas and remote posts in Poland alongside. The board is big and heavily commercial — a third of its open European roles are marketing — but the engineering under it is real, in Node backend work, SRE, data and the AI builder product.
