Technical Program Manager, Networking SRE

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Ireland: €94000 - €96000 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Own and drive planning and execution: projects, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

Coordinate projects across Networking SRE partners and development teams.

Apply technical judgment by leveraging experience in Networking technologies, architectures and protocols (e.g., IS-IS, MPLS, BGP) or Networking services (e.g., Load balancing, DNS) to the programs they manage.

Understand requirements, track, execute and report on critical programs in the networking space.

Manage dependencies and risk, including implementing mitigation plans to address them.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience in program management.

Experience with infrastructure design.

Experience in managing end-to-end lifecycle of technical projects.

Preferred qualifications:

2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Experience in the delivery of infrastructure, software and services related projects

Familiarity with operational concepts such as availability, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and error budgets.

Strong communication and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
