Save roleIn this role, you will be a visionary leader responsible for charting the financial future of the region. You will help our sales leaders identify new growth vectors, build multi-year scenarios, and make decisions that shape the future of Google's footprint across these markets.You will be focused on the detail while finding creative ways to address big picture issues across markets. Leveraging the capabilities of the central Global Business Organization (GBO) Finance team and acting as a pioneer and sponsor for the use of AI in Finance, you will provide executive level management with insightful business recommendations, planning and reporting support. You will report to the Executive Director of GBO Finance for EMEA, and partner closely with the Central Europe (CE) leadership team.
You will act as a key board member of the regional business leadership team. You will need to work cross-functionally and leverage the support of central teams for analysis and insight to help guide the CE business over the medium and long-term in relation to market opportunities and potential threats. Ultimately, you will be able to set a compelling business goal, influence execution by working with executive leaders, and inspire a high-performing team to navigate the medium and long-term in relation to market opportunities and potential risks.

Germany: €176000 - €180000 (EUR) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Partner with Central Europe leadership to define and advocate a multi-year goal, unlocking new commercial opportunities and driving executive decision-making.
Lead a high-performing analyst team by setting an inspiring direction, fostering continuous digital upskilling, and sponsoring AI innovation to pilot and scale solutions.
Structure complex, ambiguous business issues into deep insights, directly advising leadership on business prioritization and growth across emerging markets.
Direct and empower analysts to utilize big data infrastructure, steering scalable analyses that reveal key business drivers, emerging trends, and productivity gains.
Build strong cross-functional networks across sales, product, and finance leadership to address critical operational questions while actively stewarding long-term company interests and resource allocation beyond core finance topics.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
14 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.
Experience with commercial business partnering in technology, advertising, or media industries, with exposure to emerging markets.
Experience building, developing, and leading a team.
Preferred qualifications:
MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field, or professional qualification.
Experience in leading digital transformation, including the use or sponsorship of AI.
Excellent problem-solving skills, combined with impeccable business judgment.
Excellent leadership, influencing, and communication skills, ability to create and foster strong cross-functional networks and manage without authority.
Proven track record of authoring a business goal and successfully rallying cross-functional teams to execute against it.
Proven success in planning and managing at the operational level.
