Software Engineer III, Google Meet Web Experiences

As a part of this role, you will join a team that works on features and functionality for the Google Meet web client as this is their primary focus, and the area in which you will most likely spend your time.

Design and develop features for the Google Meet web client.

Collaborate with engineers across the video organization to build features end-to-end.

Partner closely with Product Management and UX to develop delightful user experiences.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience with front-end and user interface development.

2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Experience with TypeScript, Web Applications and Test Automation.

Preferred qualifications:

2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.

Experience working cross-functionally on product/feature launches.

Experience with Google server-side frameworks such as Apps Framework.

Previous experience with Google client-side frameworks: Wiz, Soy and GSS.

Proficient in Java and Typescript.
