We are looking for outstanding engineers to develop the whole software stack for future smarter android devices, ranging from SoC bringup all the way up to platform. Google Pixel is looking for Embedded System BSP Software Engineers to join the team to help in architecting, designing, developing, deploying and maintaining complex Android Kernel and Codebase stacks.

The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Plan, develop, and manage the productive Software Codebase and Infrastructure to accommodate the various Pixel devices.

Engage and integrate the new Android and Kernel features to Pixel devices for our customers.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

2 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.

4 years of experience working with software development in C/C++.

2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.

Experience developing accessible technologies.

Experience in development, testing, and deployment of Android Board Support Package (BSP).
