Google for Education is dedicated to transforming the future of learning and research through the power of technology. The Education Go-to-Market (GTM) team brings Google’s portfolio of devices (Chromebooks), cloud services (Workspace for Education), and AI tools (Gemini) to K-12 and Higher Education institutions. We help educational systems modernize their environments and improve learning outcomes. Our mission is to empower everyone to learn and teach more effectively, securely, and collaboratively.

As the Digital Transformation Lead for EMEA, you will act as a key leader within Google for Education in the region. You will bring pedagogical expertise and advanced program management excellence to own designated areas of digital transformation, setting the team direction, priorities, and methodologies across markets where we have Digital Transformation. You will take full ownership of the regional strategy and impact while engaging in priority projects.

In this role, you will balance strategic account transformation (Named Account List) with scaled adoption across the region. You will support local teams on establishing end-to-end program plans, define product adoption roadmaps, track key metrics, and streamline cross-functional processes with Sales, Marketing, and Channels. Acting as a trusted authority, you will facilitate executive alignment, manage program risks, and foster a thriving Digital Transformation function to accelerate technology adoption in education.

Establish the methodology to drive end-to-end digital transformation plans and roadmaps for strategic accounts across EMEA, aligning programs with Education GTM goals.

Lead strategic partnerships across internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) and local partner ecosystems to align resources and drive joint program execution.

Serve as a trusted program advisor to EMEA institutional leadership and Ministry stakeholders to address deployment blockers and evaluate program progress.

Drive scaled adoption and training programs, leveraging local networks (GEGs) and Reference Institutions to accelerate technology usage at scale.

Track key active usage and adoption Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), manage resource allocation, and mitigate program risks across the region.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience in educational technology.

Experience managing end-to-end program roadmaps and leading cross-functional teams.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in education, instructional design, or change management.

Understanding of Google for Education solutions (Gemini, ChromeOS and Google Workspace for Education) and educational technology trends in the region.

Track record of defining program metrics/OKRs, tracking active product adoption, and leveraging analytics to drive program success.

Demonstrated authority in business program management methodologies, process optimization, and risk management across complex, ambiguous environments.

Strong stakeholder management, strategic communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Ability to communicate in Spanish, Italian or French fluently, to support client relationship management in this region.

About Google

Google runs core product engineering out of London, Dublin, Zurich, Warsaw and Munich — not support functions. Zurich is one of its largest engineering sites anywhere, and Warsaw has grown substantially. The bar is high and the process is long, but these are genuine product teams.
