The Google Cloud AI Research team addresses AI challenges motivated by Google Cloud’s mission of bringing AI to tech, healthcare, finance, retail and many other industries. We work on a range of unique problems focused on research topics that maximize scientific and real-world impact, aiming to push the state-of-the-art in AI and share findings with the broader research community. We also collaborate with product teams to bring innovations to real-world impact that benefits our customers. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Provide technical leadership across the wider organization working on agents' lifecycle management.

Drive expanded product usage and adoption through technological solutions motivated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

Develop technology strategy and phased plans to drive product improvements or process simplifications.

Partner with cross-functional leaders across Cloud AI and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to drive alignment and deliver customer value.

Identify opportunities to leverage AI and ML, to improve usability of our products and user experiences.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures and algorithms.

3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience building large-scale distributed systems.

Experience leveraging Gen AI and ML to enhance customer experiences.

Hands-on experience with Google Cloud, or related cloud platforms.

Proven track record of iteratively delivering large-scale solutions with accelerated timelines.

Strong track record of mentorship.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
