About the role

The Internal auditor will help us at Global Switch to accomplish our business growth objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluates and provide reasonable assurance that risk management, control, and governance systems are functioning as intended and will enable the organisation's objectives and goals to be met.

Reports risk management issues and internal controls deficiencies identified directly to senior management with responsibility for risk management, provides recommendations for improving the organisation's operations, in terms of both efficient and effective performance and oversees the implementation of relevant controls or remediations

Evaluates regulatory compliance program in consultation with legal counsel.

Evaluates the organisation's readiness in case of business interruption.

Provides support to the company's anti-fraud programs.

Maintains open communication with senior management and the audit committee.

Experience Required:

Professional qualification with ACA or ACCA preferred.

Previous demonstratable experience within an audit function

Experience of setting up and running an Internal audit function.

Proficient in the use of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
