About this opportunity:

We have an excellent opportunity for a master’s student in Industrial Design to join our ID team in Business Area Networks and conduct their thesis project in collaboration with our experts. Our team works at the forefront of innovation within Ericsson’s Radio Access Network portfolio (RAN), shaping how advanced network technology connects people and businesses worldwide.

This is a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in a global tech company, working with experts in both ID and telecom, ensuring the outcome reflects a high-quality user experience and real-world relevance, while contributing fresh perspectives that can shape the future of RAN.

What you will do:

- We are looking for a candidate with a curious and analytical mindset who wants to explore their own ideas within the context of the telecom industry. Ericsson will provide the platform, access, and expertise to support the work, while the student defines and drives the research direction. Depending on the chosen focus, the thesis work may involve creating user-centered and sustainable Industrial Design deliverables ranging from solutions for the people who handle our products daily to new user scenarios and the role of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure for the inhabitants of our future society.

The skills you bring:

- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Industrial Design.

- Strong interest in Human Centered Design as a means of shaping technology into solutions fit for people.

- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

- Curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and collaborative approach.
