As a Manufacturing AI Trainee, you will support AI-driven initiatives in Ericsson’s Tallinn manufacturing environment, developing and testing computer-vision, automation and smart-factory solutions. You’ll work with Production alongside industrial engineering and automation specialists to analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities and turn pilot ideas into practical solutions. This traineeship offers hands-on learning in manufacturing processes and smart-factory technologies, including the opportunity to develop a small-scale Manufacturing AI pilot.

• Support implementation of AI-driven solutions in manufacturing operations

• Help develop, test and improve computer-vision and automation applications

• Participate in smart-factory pilots, from defining objectives to developing a small-scale pilot solution

• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify potential AI use cases and improvement opportunities

• Collaborate with Production, engineering, industrial engineering and automation teams

• Document pilot objectives, tests, results and lessons learned, and share findings as agreed

• Communicate risks, blockers and decisions needed to the manager, and keep work-related documentation up to date

• Follow occupational safety, information security, confidentiality, quality and ESD requirements; use company data and systems only for assigned work and within granted access

• Candidates who are willing to take initiative, challenge themselves, and make a positive impact

• Good proficiency in English, both verbal and written

Why you will love it here:

• A culture that values curiosity – Ask questions, try new things, and explore ideas — we encourage it.

• Opportunities to connect and feel part of the team – Team events, knowledge-sharing sessions, and chances to network across the organization.

How to apply:

• Upload your CV (English version) and complete screening questions

• Candidates who pass the screening will be invited to a short virtual interview with a recruiter

• Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for further assessment
