About this opportunity

Join the Defense Solutions team, which defines, develops and scales Ericsson’s defense portfolio. The team works across communications, private 5G, sensing, deployable networks and other emerging capabilities.

You will connect customer and operational needs with technology, business priorities and product development. Your work will help create practical, resilient solutions that support the digital transformation of defense.

What you will do

Shape the strategy and priorities for Ericsson’s defense solutions portfolio.

Translate defense and customer needs into scalable products and solutions.

Lead solution development across technology, product, business and customer teams.

Create roadmaps and drive key development and delivery initiatives.

Assess the portfolio, identify opportunities and establish clear priorities.

Build strong relationships with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.

Turn emerging technologies into practical capabilities for defense customers.

Support customer opportunities, new offerings and portfolio growth.

Measure progress and improve solutions based on customer and business outcomes.

You will bring

Extensive experience in defense, telecommunications, critical communications or a related field.

Experience leading complex solutions, products or technology initiatives.

Strong understanding of system-level challenges and how different technologies work together.

Ability to translate operational needs into clear, scalable solutions.

Experience working with customers, partners and diverse teams.

Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

A strategic and practical approach to solving complex problems.

Curiosity about emerging technologies and a commitment to turning ideas into results.

Experience in product management, solution architecture or technology strategy is valuable.

Ericsson-specific knowledge can be learned. Experience in the relevant domain, strategic leadership and the ability to deliver meaningful outcomes are essential.

Note : Due to the nature of the role and customer environment, applicants should be citizens of a NATO member nation and be eligible to obtain and maintain the required security clearances.

Security clearance including references and relevant background screening will be conducted for final candidates.
