About the opportunity

Join our innovative Test System Development team, a vital part of our R&D organization. We are responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge test systems used globally in R&D and Production. These systems are crucial in delivering state-of-the-art products. We are looking to bolster our team with a software developer who thrives in a Lean and Agile environment. Our cross-functional development teams focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

What you will do

Develop and maintain our globally used software for test systems in C#, including controlling high-frequency measuring devices via GPIB, LAN, and USB, and storing measurement results in databases for future evaluations.

Develop new software to interface with emerging test hardware

Continuously analyze requirements and perform necessary adjustments

Drive product and process improvements

Design and oversee the architecture of complex software for test systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable, maintainable, and secure.

Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks for the software development process

Drive interface requirements and definitions to other software components from other departments

You will bring

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a related qualification

Proficiency in C# programming languages, knowledge in C++ would be beneficial

Expertise in software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices

Experience with DevOps practices, pipeline handling, and continuous integration/continuous testing (CI/CD)

Basic understanding of radio frequency technology is a plus

Team collaboration skills, with high social competence

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and time management abilities

Structured, result-oriented work approach

Proficiency in written and spoken English

Proficiency in written and spoken German
