In the role of Sales Management Aerospace and Defense (m/f/d) for EuroCentral, you will take on a central responsibility for our customers in the Aerospace and Defense industry. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, build trusting customer relationships, and develop forward-thinking solutions. Your contribution strengthens business success and the sustainable expansion of our partnerships.
The role can be carried out in a location-independent hybrid manner from one of our 3DS locations (e.g. Munich, Stuttgart, Berlin, Darmstadt, Karlsruhe, Hamburg, Düsseldorf). Regular travel within the DACH region and to Paris is planned for close collaboration with colleagues and customers.
Role Description & Responsibilities
You will take on the disciplinary leadership of 5 colleagues in the Aerospace and Defense Sales team and support their development with a clear focus on collaboration and mutual growth.
You will develop viable sales strategies and design targeted customer approaches – at eye level with contacts in senior positions. Together with our industry and presales specialists, you will identify relevant customer potentials and coordinate tailored offers.
You will support customers with methodological consulting ("Value Engagement") and promote a partnership-based solution development.
You will accompany major customer projects, bring your experience in consultative selling to bear, and assist in evaluation, offer design, and negotiation.
You will work in partnership with our sales partners and provide advisory support when it comes to complex customer projects.
Qualifications
A successfully completed degree in engineering, manufacturing or business studies (or a comparable qualification)
Proven direct sales experience for the DACH region, managing sales processes and developing long-term strategic customer relationships, frequently engaging at C level
Relevant leadership experience, e.g. in leading and coaching sales teams or in the professional management of project groups
Proven experience of direct value selling to the Aerospace and Defense, Public Sector or High Tech industries is essential
Direct experience of selling software, or ERP is preferred – ideally in complex sales structures or major client projects
Strong communication skills, team orientation and a confident presence at all levels of the organisation – even in an international context; fluent German and English language skills are essential, French is a plus
