About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our Data Center & Cloud Network Engineering team. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of CrowdStrike's global cloud and data center network infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

Translate business requirements into practical network design, reference architectures, design patterns, HLDs, design reviews, runbooks, POCs, FOAs

Design, operate, & implement global multi-vendor, multi-cloud, hybrid data center networks at scale while driving network performance & resiliency

Deploy and manage cloud constructs such as subnet allocations, routing-tables/associations, VPCs, VPC-peering/PrivateLink, Hub-spoke topologies, gateways, direct connects

Develop and maintain IaC (ansible, Terraform) and automation tooling throughout CI/CD pipeline (Python, Go) to provision networks at scale, while improving the efficiency and velocity of network deployments

Troubleshoot complex production issues and contribute to incident root-cause analysis

Participate in on-call rotations

Implement network solutions meeting regional compliance and data sovereignty requirements (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, UK G-Cloud, EU data residency / GDPR, PCI-DSS)

What You Need:

Proven track record in driving agile cross-functional projects to completion independently with minimal supervision

7+ years expert design & hands-on experience of IPv4/IPv6, Anycast, MP-BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, MPLS, EVPN/VxLAN, L3VPN, CLOS, QoS, Load-balancing, MACsec, and IPsec

5+ years practical multi-cloud networking experience deploying and supporting cloud connectivity at hyperscaler, CSP or security company

Extensive experience in deploying and maintaining large networks using version control, automation frameworks (ansible, Terraform, Chef) and scripts & templating (bash, python, go, jinja, YAML, JSON)

​Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Bonus Points:

CCIE/JNCIE, AWS/GCP/OCI/Azure (Professional) Certifications

Hyperscaler/CSP background (AWS, GCP, MSFT, OCI or similar)

OpenStack / SONiC / Whitebox, FRR, open source network infrastructure experience

AI/GPU cluster networking fabrics (RDMA, RoCE, InfiniBand)

UK Government, G-Cloud, or Sovereign cloud experience
