Tax Accountant

What You'll Do:

We are looking for a talented and motivated tax accountant to join our tax accountant team. The position is based in Barcelona and reports to the GL Tax team leader in Paris.

Main Responsibilities:

Validation of all tax calculations for entities located in Europe and MEA with the assistance of local tax advisors

Validation of all tax entries in SAP and all tax payments

Performing reconciliations and analyses of the tax balance sheet and P&L accounts

Tax audits: Assisting with local tax audits and responding to inquiries from tax authorities

Participation in monitoring tax regulatory compliance changes

SOX controls: Verifying all SOX tax control documentation

Tax documentation: Preparing of tax documentation required by third, internal parties and tax authorities

Improvement of accounting and financial processes, by particularly through the optimization of tools and the automation of low-value-added tasks

Who You Are:

At least 3 years of experience in an international tax accounting department

Highly organized, autonomous, rigorous, communication skills

Fluent in English (Spanish and French will be a plus but not mandatory)

Demonstrated attention to detail with proven accuracy

Knowledge of SAP, SAP Brim, Advanced Excel, Power BI, Oracle (will be a plus but not mandatory)
